X og XC skivene fra EBC er en av de letteste skivene du kan kjøpe, de vil eliminere alle vibrasjoner og vare lenger enn konvensjonelle skiver, takket være EBC’s patenterte SD-System. Begge er designet for å redusere vekten og senter av skivene er festet med kun 6 «buttons». Dette reduserer vekten på skivene med ytterligere 300 gram.
X-skivene er sirkulære
XC-skivene er profilert
Begge er lagd av rustfritt stål og er direkte erstatning mot de originale. SD-systemet sørger for mer innvendig til utvendig flyt enn noen andre skiver på markedet.
Du må ikke forveksle flytende skiver med de som har løse skiver. Du skal ikke være i stand til å bevege verken «knappene» eller skivene fra side til side. Hvis du kan det, så ender du mest sannsynlig opp med at klossene «slår tilbake» og du vil ende opp med «svampete» bremser. Flyt betyr varmeutvidelsesevne utvendig til innvendig. Det er det EBC X og XC bremseskiver gir deg!
Bruk alltid nye klosser når du bytter bremseskiver. Gamle klosser kan føre over gamle «problemer» fra bremsesystemet, over på nye skiver.
